Playing at Oberlin College. On April 5 through 8, at 8:00 p.m. the Oberlin Student Theatre Association will present Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, a play by June Chambers, to coincide with Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual Awareness Week at Oberlin College. This is a play about seven lesbians-old friends and a newcomer-who spend their last summer together at Bluefish Cove. Tickets are $4.00 and are available through Central Ticket Service, 775-8169.

Concert and dance at Finney Chapel. On April 7 Sweet Honey in the Rock will be performing in concert at 8:30 p.m. at Finney Chapel on the Oberlin College campus. Tickets are available for $5.00 through Central Ticket Services (7758169). The concert will be followed by a Gay and Lesbian Dance. Call Jennifer at 775-8707 for details.

What do you know about this group Friends and Neighbors?

Have you been looking for a more comfortable way of meeting other males? Friends and Neighbors is a social and friendship group which offers a means to meet other males in a more relaxed atmosphere. For the past two months the group has been meeting on weekends at individuals homes. Singles and couples of all ages and professions are welcome.

The course of the evening may include conversation, potluck dinners, attending a cultural event or just going out to din-

ner. Eventually the group hopes to interchange with other gay-oriented organizations as well as travel, movies, concerts, white water rafting and much

more!

The North Coast Athletic Association Softball season will begin in June. Now is the time to form teams and solicit sponsors. Contact Al Taylor at 566-0600, from noon to 5 p.m., for more information.

Family of God begins Sunday school. Family of God Community Church has added a Sunday Church School program to its Sunday schedule. Sunday School is open to all children age 12 and below. Children are dismissed from the worship service during the singing of the hymn preceding the sermon. The program includes Bible stories, arts and crafts and music, and is taught by volunteers from within the congregation. Sunday School will provide learning, worship and fellowship for the children at their own level, as well as being a help to parents. No advance registration is necessary.

Family of God also expects to begin a midweek Bible study/sharing/prayer meeting in the very near future. Meetings will probably be held in homes of members. For more information, call the church office at 251-2918.

Family of God Community Church is a non-denominational Christian church for all people, with a special ministry within the lesbian-gay community. Services are held every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the Lesbian-Gay Community Service Center, 1418 W 29th, Cleveland.

Lesbian and gay social workers of Ohio are invited to the first meeting of our new state organization, the Ohio Chapter Committee on Lesbian and Gay Issues. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 30 at the CWRU

Near West Theatre announces auditions for NWT's road show, Peoples of Cleveland: Building Community. We are looking for actor and singers, ages 13 on up, to perform in this entertaining and educational production. There are roles for blacks, Hispanics and whites. Adult Children from Dysfunctional Homes support group. A new support group is being formed. It is designed for those individuals who are adult children of alcoholics (ACOA) or adult children of dysfunctional families. This group meets on Monday night from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. The coed group has ten members and there is a fee for service. Four conferences for gay and lesbian Jews. From April 27 to May 1, the Second European Regional Conference

Careful Rapture: A Fable for Families National is a new comedy cycle about two gay teenagers in love and how their families respond to their relationship. Currently being workshopped by its author R. Woodward, it will receive a free reading open to the public on Sunday April 29th at 7:30 p.m. in the Studio Theatre of the Lakewood Little Theatre. There will be an open critical discussion after the reading.

"This is a comedy about gay teenagers which is not depressing and which I hope gay patrons would be glad to bring their relatives to see," said Woodward. "I think we are entitled to a best-case scenario once in a while."

This Way Out, the international gay and lesbian radio program is heard each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. on WCSB, 89.3 FM. The show is produced by Lucia Chappelle and Greg Gordon at KPFKFM in Berkeley, California.

GayWaves, a lesbian and gay radio program which has been produced here in Cleveland since 1984, airs every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. on WRUW, 91.1 FM.

The Third Midwestern Regional Conference, hosted by Chutzpah, will be held in Toronto, June 29-July 1.

Seattle's Tikvah Chadashah will host the Third Western Regional Conference August 10-12, on the heels of the Gay Games in Vancouver, and will include a performance by the Mazeltones, a Seattle Klezmer band.

The Fourth Northeastern Regional Conference will take place in the Catskills, at the Holiday Hills Conference Center, August 17-19.
